TRINITY CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT STUDY is private school for independent study acting as an accrediting educational agency for non-traditional education for 8th-12th Grade fully accredited by the GEORGIA ACCREDITING COMMISSION. As an accrediting agency, the Center will provide curricular assistance, academic advisement and planning, exam proctoring, progress reports, an accredited transcript, and Diploma. A transcript from this accredited center is recognized by the University System of Georgia, and by the Georgia Technical Colleges and allows students to enter the Accel Program. Graduates of the accredited center are eligible for the HOPE scholarship immediately.
Trinity Center does not offer classes but is an independent service within Trinity Home'sCool Depot which does offer tutorial classes for high school on Tuesday and Thursday. Classes are not accredited. Schools are. Trinity Home'sCool Depot High School tutorial classes can be accredited by enrollment at the beginning of the school year of complete home study program with Trinity Center for Independent Study for ONE full year.
To be accredited by Trinity Center, you do not have to take classes anywhere. It is an agent to accredit the high school courses you are teaching at home or in combination with tutorial classes and/or online classes. Some of my students take all classes at home. Some of my students take the majority of their classes at home and a couple of tutorial classes. Some of my students take all of their classes as tutorial classes. Initial Consultation Appointment is required to prepare for the year. You would need to have official transcript from previous school or list of home study courses including curriculum used, hours spent, and grade per semester or grade reports from tutorial class or online class that have been taken in previous years if desiring previous years to be accredited along with current year. Email: TrinityCenter@hotmail.com with name and phone number to set a consultation appointment or for more information.
NOTE: Transcripts cannot be produced until completion of ONE Full year of complete home study program enrollment with Trinity Center. Trinity Center CANNOT accept students entering 12th grade without official transcript. Students do not have to take classes at Home’sCool Depot to be enrolled in Trinity Center. | Skip Calendar CalendarLatest NewsPay Tuition or Make a DonationUpcoming EventsNewsletters Available On RequestIf you are a parent wishing to receive The Depot's weekly newsletter, please e-mail Lori at slmdhmac@yahoo.com .
