Class Description: The teach/reteach approach and abundant practice problems in the Arithmetic 6 work-text help your students to master skills and concepts. The curriculum gives many excellent review/drill activities, and helps you go from the known to the unknown as Miss Joyce introduces and teaches new concepts and skills. Excellent emphasis is given to problem solving, percents, basic geometry, measures, fractions, decimals, proportions, beginning algebra, prime and composite numbers, graphs and statistics, and practical arithmetic, such as banking and budgeting.
Homework Expectations:Students should follow syllabus to practice 45 minutes to an hour each day that the student is not in classes. Parents should check the daily practice for accuracy and the tutor will check daily practice for completeness.
